Greece is famous for many delicious local products.The majority of them are offered in very good price.
The so called "Greek salad"(horiatiki) is is a complete meal as it contains feta cheese , fresh vegetables, olive oil.
Inexpensive is also the world wide known "souvlaki" and "tzatziki" which is served as a dip sauce.Don't miss to enjoy it in traditional tavernas with hand made fried potatoes(not pre fried) !
"Ouzo"is served in entire Greece, "tsipouro" in continental country and in Aegian islands and "tsikoudia" only in Crete.These three beverages are accompanied by traditional delightful snacks .
Last but not least, frape cold cοffee. Many young foreign tourists love it!
